DiverseFol was developed and is maintained by Prerak Naik.
DiverseFol was a project started originally as "FruitAI."
The name was changed to 'DiverseFol' because in Latin, it means 'different leaves', a simple message which explains the overall purpose of the app.
I wanted to make this app to solve the problem of people being on their phones too much.
When I saw people wanting to play games on their phone rather than going outside, I took advantage of this and made this website, which combines playing on your phone and going outside.
The app works by first creating an account, then scanning different leaves, to gain varying numbers of points on your account.
There is a cooldown for scanning the same leaf for 1 hour in the same area.
The radius for that area is 200 feet, however, this may be increased to 1/10 of a mile (528 feet).
The scanning is cheater-proof because it caches the leaves, with a cooldown for each leaf for 1 hour.
The same leaf cannot be scanned in the same area because of this caching.
The application has a leaderboard, so that people can compete with their friends or race to the top.
It is an incredible way to bring friends together, along with using artificial intelligence.
